Become come part of the SLS and EDC Creations PR family. Please call in to our literary chat line and discuss your book club, blog, ezine, or group, list your members and contact information; talk about your book of the month or special features. Invite authors to your show or events. Share book reviews. I will send you the free mp3 recording to use on your sites. You also receive a full page on our book club center site and half page in our newsletter.
If you agree, your recordings will be used by BAN BlogTalk Radio show hosts as their commercials. You will be come known as literary leaders outside your own network. The Black Authors Network (BAN) will host 3 shows per week.
These recordings will also be syndicated out to 25 other broadcast directories too! You will have a chance to be recognized by mainstream media as well. Thousands of readers per week will be exposed to your writing, opinions, and wisdom.
Email Ella after you make your recording at: sankofaliterarysociety@yahoo.com and share a 1-paragraph history of the book club or group, your founder's contact info., at least two pictures or a logo. We will showcase you in our newsletter and on our 3 sites.

SLS Professional Bloggers and Chatters
Support the Author and Empower Readers all over the World
Do you like to chat with people online? Do you love books? Do you want to talk to famous authors almost daily? Then join the SLS Professional Blogging Network!
The Sankofa Literary Society is offering 100 people the opportunity to become professional bloggers and event chatters. Amazon has its top 100 book reviewers, well we are starting a program to celebrate our top 50 professional bloggers and event chatters!
Each month, the top 10 bloggers or chatter will win a box of free books! Yes, that's right, FREE books! My SLS Admin Team will visit all of our sites and total up the informative, empowering, and active posts of our bloggers. Event chatters are the people who come to the all new BAN BlogTalk Radio Show events and chat with the other visitors in our chat rooms during literary events.
Every three (3) months the SLS Admin Team will evaluate the reviews, posts, and monthly awards of each of the pro-bloggers and event chatters. The SLS will award the top 5 bloggers and chatters a $100.00 American Express Gift Card and special gifts provided by visiting authors! You will also be given a special day on our BAN Internet Radio Show. As well as a huge virtual announcement of your professional blogging status.
It's simple-- visit our sites, blogs, MySpace, Book Club Center and attend our virtual events to be rewarded for supporting today's hottest authors. You will be announced to the world quarterly to show our appreciation for your support and dedication.
Periodically, the authors will also give away prizes to our Pro-Bloggers and Event Chatters, so check out the list of links below and let's get started!
Rules as of January 30, 2008
Email Ella if you are taking part in the program. Send her a brief bio along with the address to mail your prizes and gift cards. You have to live in the United States and be at least 18 years old to enter. IF you do not email Ella your information, she has no way to inform you that a count has started of your posts. We welcome our elders, college students, and stay at home moms.
All posts have to be at least 50 words or more to be counted as a post. If you are signing up as a event chatter, you have to work the chat room at least half of the event for the session to count. We will need all of your to call in to chat with the authors for big events. The conference call information is listed below.
You can choose the sites where you blog, but we would like for you to visit and support the entire network from time to time. Soon you will build a following among the readers and other chatters. We are looking for the next Octavia Victoria Rogers (The House of Bondage), Frances E.W. Harper, Elizabeth Keckley, C. Henrietta Ray, Amanda Smith, or Phillis Wheatley! You have a voice in today's literary world, share it with others.

Call in your Blogging Sessions
EDC Creations Wealth of Wisdom Series--read a quote, poem, or scripture and discuss it. We will post this in our audio magazine section. Post only one of these per week. Limit 15 minutes. Do not promote any business or project on these calls. I will delete violators.

Audio Book Reviews--Call in and leave your book reviews of ratings of 3/5 stars or better. These book reviews should be related to books with African-Americans as the main characters or about us as a community. Only leave positive book reviews. If you don't like the book, or if there were issues, do not post these reviews. We seek to help, not harm.
